London & Colonial Appoints Phil Risbridger as Regional Account Manager for the Midlands and the North

London & Colonial has announced the appointment of Phil Risbridger as Regional Account Manager for the Midlands and the North.

Phil joins London & Colonial from Scottish Widows where he has spent the last 8 years as an Account Manager, specialising in Corporate Wealth and Pensions.

Reporting directly to Martin McDermott, London & Colonial’s Head of Sales, Phil’s main focus will be on promoting the firm’s range of accumulation and decummulation retirement solutions, whilst further expanding the company’s existing adviser base.

Martin says “With a career in financial services spanning some 26 years, and having worked for the likes of Friends Provident, Scottish Mutual, and Aviva, Phil brings with him a wealth of experience and industry contacts, all of which makes him the ideal candidate when it comes to driving forward sales of our products within the region.

Not only will he ensure that we remain able to continue to capitalise on our existing relationships with advisers within these areas, but with a raft of opportunities having been unleashed as a result of last year’s pension freedoms his appointment will ensure we remain in great shape, when it comes to developing new ones and making the most of the opportunities that will doubtlessly present themselves.”
