London & Colonial appoints Nigel Darnley as Technical Services Manager

London & Colonial has appointed Nigel Darnley, who joins them from AGEAS Protect, as Technical Services Manager.

Nigel, reports directly to Chief Executive Ken Wrench and has previously held positions at MGM Advantage, Quilters, and Winterthur Life. He will be mainly focussed on optimising service delivery for the complete product range including the new Guaranteed Drawdown products we will be launching next year.

Ken says "With a career in financial services spanning some 45 years and having held a variety of positions within the industry, Nigel’s wealth of experience makes him the ideal candidate to develop our overall service proposition. He will not only ensure that we achieve the highest standards of service that our IFAs expect, but he is also well placed to help us make the most of the new opportunities that next year’s legislative changes will bring.

Having previously worked with Nigel during our time together at Merchant Investors, I am looking forward to working with him once again, as we continue to build upon London & Colonial’s 25 year legacy of achievement."
